Our Story

Profiles Hair Salon is an independently co-owned and operated hair salon that has been serving the community of Grand Ledge, Michigan  for over sixteen years. We are proud to pamper clients from anywhere in the downtown Grand Ledge area. We understand the mind-body-spirit connection in hair care. We can create the look that you want or rebuild hair that has been damaged by stress and environmental factors. Profiles is a multi-approach to health and well being, with a spa specialist giving facials and hot stone massages to a reflexologist, a nail technician on staff to better accommodate our client's needs.

Mary Hotchkin and Brenda Cissel opened Profiles Hair Salon after embarking on their own amazing journey of transformation and healing. In 1993, they were overworked and overstressed; working in other beauty shops, not satisfied with the way they were being run. So they created a vision, took out a loan and started their own beauty shop in downtown Grand Ledge, Michigan.  They've been cutting hair for over twenty years, and love making people feel happy with a new style.  They have learned advanced hair techniques,developing their own unique styles. They currently have on staff over 16 highly trained stylists for you to choose from. 

Relax and enjoy complimentary coffee, an inviting atmosphere and wonderful conversation. There are also great hair products available for purchase at the front desk, which include Aquage, Redken, Morrocan oil, and much more!
